Amy Joy Kassouni is an attorney at Kassouni Law and a founding member of the firm. She began her professional career in interior architecture and design before transitioning into law, where she now focuses on litigation strategies that address educational inequities and close achievement gaps for historically underserved students. With more than 20 years of volunteer leadership, she has served as an elected officer on the San Juan Unified School District’s LCAP Parent Advisory Committee, advising on equitable resource allocation. In July 2025, she joined the SWS Board of Directors, driven by a strong commitment to expanding access to mental health services across the county. Known for her deep knowledge of students’ rights and constitutional law, Amy brings both rigor and passion to every conversation about justice, equity, and community impact.
